Based at this apartment, you can enjoy a minimalist and modern space with great facilities giving you the opportunity to feel at home in the city. In the evenings, you can recline on the large couch in the open-plan living room and kitchen. Colorful bean bags offer comfortable places to relax and enjoy good conversation with a glass of wine in the evenings. The kitchen is compact and functional, with a small stove and storage space for your groceries. There is also a breakfast bar where you can savor meals with your loved ones inspired by your travels around the city.

The Neighborhood

Once considered the home of the Parisian aristocracy, the beautiful area of Le Marais is now home to a diverse population of young creatives, Jewish families and many others. The area is also well known as being something of an epicenter of the city’s museum culture. For culture vultures, a trip to the Musée National Picasso-Paris is a must. The museum is filled with 5000 paintings, sculptures and sketches donated to the French state by the family of PIcasso after his death. Meanwhile the Musée Carnavalet focuses on Parisian history and the Musée d’art et d’histoire du Judaïsme pays attention to the history of the Marais area as a hub of Jewish life in Paris. In terms of shopping, one good tip is to visit Ofr, which is one of the city’s coolest bookshops and home to many avant-garde publications. Also, Merci is one of Paris’ most famous and coolest concept stores, where you can spend hours browsing the unusual items for sale.

Marais is well known for its many excellent restaurants and bars, particularly for it’s gay-friendly scene as the area has recently become synonymous with Paris’ burgeoning LGBT movement. Top restaurants include L’As du Fallafel, which is a small bistro perfect for lunch while you’re out and about, and Miznon serves excellent fresh Mediterranean dishes. For dinner, try Pamela Popo with its modern twist on traditional french cuisine. The Marché des Enfants Rouges is Paris’ oldest market and always has a smell to entice you in and try the many street food options. For an evening drink, both Le Mary Celeste and Sherry Butt offer a brilliant cocktail menu. Les Souffleurs is one of the best gay bars in an area which boasts many fine examples.
